Devil's Dream


This fiddle tune is a favorite of lead flatpicking guitar players. It is a fun tune since the chords are pretty easy and there is a lot of room for improvising when it comes your turn to play.

*Banjo players usually play this out of "G positions" with a capo at the 2nd fret putting them in the key of A, in terms of sound. That matches up with the fact that most fiddlers and mandolin players play the song in the open key of A. Some guitarists play it in G and some in A.
